Tony Moly Kiss Lover Lip Master Review

So today I have three shades from the Tony Moly Kiss Lover Lip Master line to review!

I have the color 1- First Kiss, 3- Sexy Red, and 10 Party Pink (this is a limited edition color from last Christmas if I remember correctly)

So this comes with a slanted tip applicator so it glides on pretty easily onto the lips. This product is pretty pigmented so a little goes a long way. I've used them for a while now and honestly I only like them for more casual everyday wear and perfect for creating a gradient lip look. They are pretty silicon like in texture on the lips so they don't set as quick as I would like it to and they do transfer onto whatever you drink from. I would say the wear time on these are about 2 hours for me since I do drink water pretty frequently, they do not have long lasting power and comes off very easy but it does leave a slight tint afterwards. Plus, with a thin layer, you don't get too bold of a color.

I have them heavily swatched here and as you can see, it is pretty glossy and runs into the lines on my hand cause I put a bit too much on. The top one is #1, middle is #3 and bottom is #10. My personal favorite is #10 but it was a holiday edition color.

All of the colors have a same scent, it smells like a very sweet cherry candy. It makes me want to eat candy every time I apply it. It's not a very strong scent though, disappears after 10-20 of application. I do recommend these if you are looking for a product that is good for creating a gradient lip look. I got each one of these for around $10 on ebay.

Beauty People 10 Seconds Auto Eyeliner Pencil Review

Hi! So today, I'm here to talk about the eyeliners that came inside one of the global Memeboxes, Superbox #29, Burst of Color 2.

These eyeliners are called 10 Seconds Auto Eyeliner Pencil from the brand Beauty People. I personally have not heard of this brand before buying this box. The box includes two full size eye liners and you could have received one of two choices: 01-Diamond Beige and Diamond Bronze or you could have gotten 02-Diamond Burgundy and Diamond Natural Berry. I was hoping I would get the second set because I wanted that berry color but I ended up getting the first set.

As you can see, this is a twisted up pencil with a built in sharpener at the back end.

I must say I really fell in love with these eyeliners. They glide on very smoothly without any tugging. They are softer in texture than the Urban Decay 27/7 Eyeliners but harder than the Milani Liquif' Eye Pencils and they do not move after it dries. No smudging, no flaking.

These two colors are too light for me to use as a liner so for the bronze color, I use it all over the lid as an eye shadow (blended out with my finger) and I use the beige color on the inner corners of my eyes and right under to create that popular korean makeup look with the aegyo sal.

I've seen it on G-Market for $10-14 USD but the Memebox info card said they are $24 USD each so just take this info with a grain of salt.

Final Verdict: 5/5, these liners are harder to find online but if you come across them, give them a try. I'm really loving my Korean brand eyeliners now, they are cheaper than my old favorites from Tarte and Urban Decay and have better staying power than some of the more expensive eyeliners I've tried in the past.

Revlon Lip Butters!

So today, I want to share with you one of my most loved products since the beginning of this year, which are the Revlon Lip Butters. When it first came out, it was sold out in every drugstore near me so it took me a while to find the ones I wanted to try out.

As you can see, I own 6 of them, the colors are (from left to right): Creamsicle, Sugar Frosting, Cupcake, Candy Apple, Tutti Frutti, Sweet Tart. I'm thinking about picking a few more up but they need to be restocked in my local Walgreens first. XD

Formula wise, I love these~ They are very moisturizing and some of the shades pack on a lot of pigment, just like a lipstick. They can also be worn sheer for a hint of color. For some reason, some of my lip butters are unscented while a few of them have a slight sweet vanilla scent to them. I'm not bother by this at all though, since the smell is very light and not noticeable after a few minutes. The finish of these are somewhat dewy looking but they are in no way sticky, feels just like butter. I hate sticky lip products! If you don't like giltter, I'd suggest looking at the tip of the cap to double check since some of them, like Peach Parfait has glitter suspended in it.

065 Creamsicle:
This is more of a light peachy color and it lightens up my lips quiet a bit. This color might not look that great on darker skin tones.

005 Sugar Frosting:
This is a very sheer lip color. This one has a bit of a frosty look to it so I like to use it when I'm not wearing too much makeup.

055 Cupcake:
I actually am disappointed in this color since it makes my teeth look yellower than they are. This is a purple tone pink that has the same finish like Sugar Frosting.

090 Sweet Tart:
I think this color is really nice if you're looking for a brighter pink color.

015 Tutti Frutti:
This color is straight up orange and I love it but I don't have much to say about it. It can be a bit hard to wear if you want to wear it opaque.

035 Candy Apple:
I think this is a warmer red but it's really easy to wear. This is coming from a person who is scared of red lipsticks.

To add to this, I picked up the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in the color Charm. This is a more orange version of Creamsicle and it leaves a really nice coral stain. So far, I don't love it nor hate it. I do have to say that it made my lips peel so I'm not sure if I'm having an allergic reaction to it or not.

Top row: Cupcake, Sugar Frosting, Creamsicle
Bottom row: Sweet Tart, Tutti Frutti, Candy Apple

These past few weeks, I've been trying out many different skin care lines to help with my acne problem but I haven't found anything I love yet. Adult acne is so frustrating to deal with. :[

Etude House Shini Star

Hi there! It's been a while since I have written a post~ I've just been very busy with school and life but I'm back with a review of two things I bought from the Etude House Shini Star Special Edition line featuring SHINee<3

Etude House Shini Star Clear BB Lotion
Packaging: This bb lotion comes with a vacuum pump which I found to be kind of hard to use. I feel like it's not really a vacuum pump seeing how every time I use it, I have to pump once or twice before the product comes out but who can complain when the packaging is this cute! (30mL)
Scent: This has a very clean baby powder scent that isn't too strong and it disappears soon after application.
Coverage: This is a bb lotion, not a bb cream so don't expect a lot of coverage with this. This gives a very sheer tint and overall brightens the face. It doesn't cover freckles or acne scars so if you want something that covers that, this isn't a product for you.
Consistency: I love the consistency of this bb lotion~ It's not thick at all, it's a very thin and smooth lotion that absorbs into the skin very well.
Comments: I like how it gives a "no makeup" effect when applied and the staying power on my skin. This leaves the skin with a very natural skin-like finish where it's not matte or overly dewy. This product controls oil pretty well, which shocked me since this is suppose to be a moisturizing bb lotion. Another plus to this is that this bb lotion is free of parabens, mineral oil, benzophenone and ethanol.

The other product I bought from this line is the Shini Lip Balm in #2, Grapefruit. This one has Jonghyun's signature on the bottom of the tin after all the product is used up. I don't know what to say about this product though since I don't love it or hate it. The product is solid in the tin but once it comes into contact with heat, it melts into a non-sticky lip gloss texture. It has a really pleasant citrus scent but I feel like the pigmentation is lacking on the lips even though it looks really pigmented in swatches. I like to use this balm over a lipstick as a gloss.

Here's the ingredients list on the side of the box for the bb lotion.

The color of the lip balm is very orange/coral in real life.

On the top corner is a swatch of the lip balm, below that is a pump of the bb lotion and on the left of that is a blended out swatch of the bb lotion.

I've been buying things like crazy on ebay for the past month but I don't have time to share my hauls anymore</3. I will try to update more with reviews of products I've been using though~

Holika Holika Mask Review

Hi there! Today I will be talking about the Holika Holika Cherry Blossom Essence Mask Sheet. The only reason I was pulled into buying this mask was the fact that CN Blue was the spokesperson for Holika Holika and that their faces was on the mask :]

But yeah, I've used 3/10 that I own and so far I give this mask a 3/5.

The Fit
This mask is very short from forehead to chin and it's very wide (ear to ear). I like the fit of the My Beauty Diary Masks over this one. The good thing about this mask is that it covers the side my of face pretty well but it's barely long enough to cover my forehead and chin + the nose flap doesn't cover my nose well. I don't think I have a long chin or forehead either so I wonder if this fits well with people who have a longer, slimmer face.

The Scent
It smells nice, very floral but I don't like my sheet masks to be this heavily scented. I found that with all of the Holika Holika products I've tried, they seem to be very heavy scented, which might not work out with people that have sensitive skin.

Properties of the Mask
This mask is suppose to provide water and nutrition to the skin to keep it moist. As you can tell, this product is probably marketed towards teenagers. I think that it does moisturize the skin but the effects from it doesn't last too long. I'd say this is something you can use for a little pick me up but it doesn't have any of the whitening and tightening properties of some face masks (these cost 1.99 I believe, which is pretty expensive compared to MBD). I like using this before I put on make up in the beginning of a day since it makes applying bb cream much easier.

Overall, I really wanted to LOVE these masks but I don't. I think these cost more than the My Beauty Diary Masks and those are so much more effective than this one. :[ But if you are interested in the Holika Holika one, do try it out. Maybe it just didn't work out for me.

On the other hand, I was very surprised by the My Scheming Masks but I've only used it once so I still need to test it out more.

Here is a picture of how the mask looks after I washed and dried it. It's very wide, no?
Here's the front of the package.

BB Cream Reviews~

Hi there! Today I have some reviews of bb creams I like to use. I'm actually still on the hunt for more bb creams to try out, I just ordered a Dr. Jart one from Sasa to try out :D

So, the bb creams I have for you today are:

Lioele Beyond the Solution BB Cream
Packaging: This bb cream comes with a vacuum pump but the bad part is that if there's some product left on the tip, the product transfers onto the cap which can make it look dirty. (50mL)
Scent: I want to say that this scent is slightly floral with a bit of baby powder. It's not too strong and the scent goes away after an hour or so.
Coverage: This is one of the higher coverage bb creams out there. I would say this has a medium to full coverage.
Consistency: Because this bb cream has a pretty high coverage, the formula is pretty thick so it is a bit hard to work with so be sure to moisturize well before using it.
Comments: Initially, this was one of my favorite bb cream but as I got the chance to try out more bb cream, this got push to the middle of my list just because I prefer bb creams that are a bit thinner in consistency. If you need medium coverage, this is a good bb cream to invest in.

Lioele Water Drop BB
Packaging: This is a squeeze tube packaging which I find to be not as sanitary as a vacuum pump because oxygen and other particles in the air can get inside so I do suggest you throw it after you open it for a year. (50mL)
Scent: This also has a floral scent but I find it to smell "fresher" than the beyond the solution and that I prefer this one over that.
Coverage: This bb cream has a pretty light coverage but I love using it because it has a nice cooling effect from the water molecules that form once you put it on. This is also a lot easier to blend and perfect for everyday use since it covers your blemishes slightly, giving you a more natural look.
Consistency: Since this bb cream is water based, its pretty runny and light. I love the fact that it is so light, I forget I have bb cream on sometimes when I wear this.
Comments: I think this bb cream is a great starter bb cream in general because it is so easy to blend with and it won't look like you have a thick layer of makeup on.

Lioele Triple the Solution
Packaging: This has the same packaging as the Beyond the Solution bb cream but this has SPF protection, an whitening effect and winkle care. (50mL)
Scent: I dislike this scent, probably because I dislike the scent of lavender ( I'm weird, right?). This smells like a mixture of lavender and eucalyptus oil.
Coverage: I think this bb cream has an even higher coverage than the Beyond the Solution one, which is great for special occasions.
Consistency: Very thick. I only apply this with a wet sponge applicator. I don't have smooth skin to begin with so this does emphasize the bumps on my skin so maybe using a primer underneath this will make it smoother. I'm pretty lazy so I don't like using primers.
Comments: I perfer the other two Lioele bb creams over this one probably because I prefer a lighter type of bb cream, rather than a heavy one like this but this might be the perfect bb cream if you want full coverage + don't mind the scent of lavender. I love to use this to take pictures with because of its high coverage though.

Skin 79 - The Oriental Gold BB Cream
Packaging: The pump top on this is kind of weird. It's a vacuum pump but you push the top down to get the product to come up in the center. This also comes with a lip/cheek tint on the cap of the container. (40mL)
Scent: This has a really nice tea scent to it. I'm in love with it.
Coverage: The coverage for this is probably medium, it has better coverage than the Lioele Water Drop.
Consistency: This is not too thick or too runny like water based bb creams. It blends pretty nicely too.
Comments: This is my go to bb cream this winter because it is so moisturizing and light plus, I think the color matches me pretty well in the winter time. This bb cream feels a bit sticky to me after application so I always set it with a powder afterwards.

Skin 79 - Super + Belesh Balm (pink label)
Packaging: It's a vacuum pump where you press the top down to get the product out of the nozzle. I kind of wish that they had a cap for the nozzle cause I like to keep it on my table top so I don't want bugs flying/crawling around it. (40mL)
Scent: It has a really light scent which I'm not sure what it is. It could be the scent from the almond oil in the formula.
Coverage: Light to medium. I think this bb cream has the best color adapting abilities cause it can match me in the winter and summer perfectly.
Consistency: I would say that this is a bit thinner than the Skin 79 Oriental Gold but its not as thin as the Lioele Water Drop.
Comments: I like to use this bb cream in warmer weather because it very light weight and it has really good oil absorbing abilities.

Holika Holika Petit BB (Clearing)
Packaging: The packaging for the petite bb cream line is so adorable.~ It is a squeeze tube though. (30mL)
Scent: I found the scent of this bb cream to be really strong. It smells kind of like the Covergirl Nature Luxe foundation, that artificial cucumber scent. I think it smells very sweet and kind of floral too. I wouldn't recommend this for people with sensitive skin.
Coverage: This has high coverage and I think it is comparable to the coverage found in Lioele Triple the Solution.
Consistency: Because this is a high coverage cream, it is pretty thick. I need to add a bit of my moisturizer to it in order to make is a bit easier to blend.
Comments: I found that this is a weird bb cream. It swatches pretty dark on my hand but once I put it on my face, it changes like 1-2 shades. I found that this made my skin look a bit too pale compare to the rest of my body/neck. Also, I'm not sure it does anything to help with my breakouts, I think it actually aggravates my skin a bit because of the strong smell.

Here are some swatches to show how different the bb creams look next to each other. I'm sorry for the poor quality since my camera is pretty old. :[
